Tortoise 14C + GX25 Columnless Tripod Kit
The small yet mighty Tortoise Series Tripod has been developed for those looking for a compact, lightweight travel tripod, that punches above its weight when it comes to weight capacity and stability. Without the addition of a center column, the diameter of a folded Tortoise is just 3.1in (8cm) making it extremely portable and easy to stow in a backpack. The low-profile design of the GX heads allows for a higher payload and smoother, more controllable camera movement. The GX heads feature dual panoramic mode, which allows you to pan the head from its base in addition to the quick-release platform, a main ball locking knob and friction control.

If you wish to extend the height of your Tortoise Tripod, centre Columns are available. Simply remove the head from your Tripod and attach a 3-section column which provides between 19.6cm and 40cm of column extension. All columns feature a 3/8" female thread in the base so it will attach to the Tripod top thread, and a 3/8" male thread on the column top will allow you to re-attach the head.
