APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical - E-Mount
The Ultimate-performing Wide Angle in Voigtländer's history full- frame Sony E-mount
The APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical E-mount wide-angle lenses from the Voigtländer, designed specifically for the
respective mounts of the full-frame compatible Sony E-mount.
The APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical E-mount is the highest-performing lenses from Voigtländer, and are available in
the same mounts as the previously released APO-LANTHAR 50mm F2 Aspherical and the APO-LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical, the
highest-performing wide-angle lenses in Voigtländer's history.
Optimised for full-frame Sony E-mount sensors, the apochromatic design thoroughly eliminates chromatic aberration on axis and other aberrations,
while also pursuing ultimate performance in terms of resolution and contrast reproduction.
8-group, 12-element lens is equipped with 6 elements of abnormal partial dispersion lens and 2 double-sided aspheric lenses, and also features a built-in floating mechanism.
The lens delivers consistent image quality from a minimum focusing distance of 0.28 m to long distances, and boasts performance that will revolutionise the value of
large-aperture wide-angle lenses with a 28 mm F2 lens.
The APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical E-mount lenses combine the ultimate in optical performance and compactness, with overall lengths of 58.8 mm
from the mount surface, which is the same as the previously released quasi-wide-angle APO-LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical lens. LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical lens,
giving it a tighter, more compact size.
The 12 diaphragm blades are nearly circular and render bokeh from point light sources and other objects in a straightforward manner.
The APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical E-mount is equipped with electronic contacts so that the lens usage status is reflected in the
Exif information of the shooting data. It also has a built-in distance encoder, making it compatible with models with 5-axis in-body image
stabilisation, which uses distance information to the subject for shift stabilisation.
It is also possible to magnify the viewfinder by operating the focus ring.
The aperture ring has a 1/3 stop click. An aperture switching mechanism is provided which can be set without a click during video recording.
A metal circular screw-on hood is included for compactness when mounted.
