The new top end digital compact camera from Leica, following on from the sucessful X1 compact with the same 24mm F2.8 Aspheric Elmarit lens, equivalent to a 35mm focal length with a full frame 35mm format. The X2 has a new CMOS images sensor, a large sensor for such a compact camera, producing outstanding image quality in its class, couple this with its Leica lens for truly breath taking results down to the smallest detail. New improved auto focusing mean that the X2 focusing is extremely precise as well as quiet focusing down to 30cm with a choice of 1 point, 11 point, spot or face detection settings. So if you are looking for a beautifully made German compact with easily laid out and comprehensive controls with the classic look and feel of a Leica and the results to match with a full range of accessories then look no further. Why not add the optional Leica Handgrip ( as pictured ). Single-handed operation is no problem at all with the X2 Hand Grip which ensures safe and secure handling of the camera. With it fitted, the fingers of the right hand have significantly improved grip.
