Colin Prior one of photographey landscapes most well known names, takes you to the place that he loves the most Torrodon, Meeting at Ffordes shop at approx 8.30am on the morning of the workshop, subject to light condition we will travel by complimentary mini bus to Loch Maree and the hills of Torridon, (Everyone will be asked to wear a mask while travelling in the bus), this is necessary due to Ffordes staff; shop working procedures. On arrival at location, Colin will take us to some of his favourite places and walk you through how to capture the area at its best.
Aidan from Sigma UK, will be on hand with technical and technique assistance, as well as some toys to play with., we will hope to be back by approx 6.30pm, depending on light.
Colin’s distinctive and evocative photographs have been published as fine art prints, calendars and books and distributed throughout the world.
In 2020 Merrell published Fragile-Birds, Eggs & Habitats, which was followed in 2021 by The Karakoram – Ice Mountain of Pakistan, the most glaciated region on the planet outside of Antarctica and the Arctic.
His earlier books, include Living Tribes and The World’s Wild Places, which were published internationally by Constable.
