The ergonomic and durable 7x50 Commander Binocular from Steiner features high definition and fully multicoated optical elements that provide images with edge-to-edge brightness, clarity, and contrast. To add extra protection against dirt and water, Steiner enhanced objectives and oculars with a layer of hydrophobic coating. Moreover, to increase transmission over the entire visible spectrum, optical elements feature an additional Diamond-Marine-Coating. While a 7x magnification and 50mm objectives offer notable magnification and high visibility in low lighting conditions, the Sports-Auto-Focus feature delivers sharp images at distances from 66' to infinity without the need to refocus and allows you to track of moving targets efficiently. For your convenience, the binocular offers a 7.1mm exit pupil and an interpupillary adjustment.
The binocular also features a lightweight and durable Makrolon polycarbonate body with a lightly contoured NBR rubber armoring that provides both external protection and a secure non-slip grip. This NBR rubber armoring is resistant to oils, abrasives and liquid fuels. With the housing that is waterproof and submersible to 33', you can use it in a wide range of outdoor activities and training sessions, including boating and water rafting. The binocular is also nitrogen-filled fogproof and will not fog-up because of a high humidity or changing temperatures. To winged fold-down eyecups are made of non-aging and non-irritating silicone for maximum comfort and durability. Also included are a rainguard, objective lens covers, a semi-rigid carry case, and a floating neck strap.
